No Chinese footprints in Greenland! Denmark rejects Trump’s takeover push

Trump seeks to justify a US takeover of Greenland. Danish FM Rasmussen firmly denies Chinese investments or footprints there. He adds no US military requests on Greenland have been received in 20 years, with ties rooted in a 1951 defense deal and NATO membership.

After White House talks with Vance and Rubio, Rasmussen confirms Denmark and the Trump administration still disagree fundamentally over Greenland.

Nuuk residents feel slightly reassured post-trilateral talks but say more questions than answers remain.

Trump pushes for NATO's support to acquire Greenland. In response, Denmark plans to boost its military presence in the Arctic and North Atlantic.
