Every Conversation Matters: Marking 10 Years of Mental Health First Aid in Ireland

In November 2025, Mental Health First Aid Ireland marked a significant milestone — 10 years of delivering Mental Health First Aid training across Ireland — with the Every Conversation Matters conference.

Held at the Convention Centre Dublin, the event brought together professionals from healthcare, education, workplaces, community organisations and policy to reflect on a decade of progress in mental health literacy, early intervention and practical support skills.

Mental Health First Aid training equips people with practical, skills-based approaches to recognise when someone may be experiencing a mental health difficulty, respond appropriately, and encourage connection with relevant supports. Over the past decade, this approach has been embedded across a wide range of sectors in Ireland.
