Under current laws, fish can experience horrible deaths on European fish farms.
It doesn't have to be this way. In its ongoing revision to the animal welfare legislation, the European Commission should include strict measures to limit the pain and suffering of farm animals both during their lives and during slaughter, including by banning ineffective stunning and slaughter practices.
