Designing leather wallets with full grain leather is a tricky thing. There's only so much you can do before the size of it starts to get out of hand. Certainly those are parameters that I have set for myself in how I design things; I want you to have this wallet FOREVER.
For as long as I've been making slim wallets (over 15 years now), I get customers who are still desiring an obvious place to put their cash. The old Billfold.
I have a few options in our lineup that meet that need, but not always in the ways that people are accustomed to. So I went back to the drawing board recently - with one that was a false start, and one that i"m proud to offer as an option in our full wallet lineup. It's a design that's quite reminiscent of a couple of my best-selling wallets, borrowing elements from both the Animas and the San Juan.
It's called the Juanimas, natch. I hope you dig it.
