Alam nyo ba na marami pa ring kababayan natin sa Saudi na tumatakbo o umaalis sa kanilang amo dahil sa hirap ng sitwasyon sa trabaho? Yung tipong hindi na makayanan, kaya napipilitang maging undocumented o ‘runaway worker.’
Ang problema, kapag undocumented ka, sobrang risky—walang proteksyon, mahirap kumuha ng trabaho, at pwede pang makulong o ma-deport.
Pero good news! May inilunsad ngayon ang Saudi government—isang six-month grace period para sa ating mga runaway domestic workers. At syempre, hinihikayat ng DMW o Department of Migrant Workers ang ating mga kababayan na samantalahin ito habang bukas pa ang oportunidad.
