Elegant Dark Valentine Wreath DIY | Black & Red Plaid Heart Decor

In today’s video, I’m creating a dark, elegant Valentine wreath using mostly Dollar Tree supplies—perfect if you love Valentine décor without all the pink.

This wreath features a 16-inch base built up to about 22 inches finished, using a black deco mesh foundation paired with red and black plaid mesh. I added cruffles and ribbon bundles using plaid and black-and-white heart ribbon to keep the look bold, graphic, and timeless.

The focal point is a Dollar Tree wooden heart sign, transformed with textured decoupage paper, painted red, and highlighted with subtle black and gold metallic dry brushing for depth. A small plaid bow placed at the top corner finishes it off with just the right touch of charm.
