Marlene Dietrich sings Friedrich Hollaender's great song, "Wenn ich mir was wünschen dürfte" live at the Tuschinsky Theatre in Amsterdam, as broadcast on Dutch radio in 1960. The arrangement & musical direction is by Burt Bacharach.
Her spoken introduction was recorded in 1987 for use on an Udo Lindenberg album. The version included in this video is a previously unpublished alternate take.
The photos, showing Marlene Dietrich during her frequent trips to Copenhagen in the 1960's, are presented courtesy of the Crees Collection.
