My Nuclear War Survival Kit

In this video I describe the nuclear war survival kit that my wife and I keep in each of our cars. The goal is to allow us to hunker down in an underground car park or subbasement for three days until the radiation levels are low enough to suit up in the CSI suit and resperator to go looking for more food and water. Three days is long enough for the radiation level to decrease to a level low enough to emerge for a short time. The CSI suit and resperator is to prevent inhaling fallout or becoming contaminated. Besides food, water and protection against contaminationm the kid contains, first aid supplies, including first aid for radiation sickness, a radio, light, blanket, knife, a radiation detector, a water filter capable of filtering radioactive particles, and other sundry survival supplies.
