If you’ve suffered a distal bicep tendon rupture and have had surgery to reconstruct the tendon into the radius - more likely than not you will be struggling knowing what to do in that first week of strengthening.
I have a patient in the same spot at week 11 so here is five exercises that I’ve given him to get the tendon and bicep muscle tone improved and start the strengthening process.
It’s important to note that isometric and eccentrics are key during the stage of rehab and not going for conventional concentrate bicep curls or Rows. You’ll also be very weak and deconditioned in the muscle and tendon so take your time. Go slow and keep a load in minimum to start with
