'Out of the Race: Why Girls Quit Sport' follows 17 year old athlete and filmmaker, Issey Kyson, as she investigates why so many girls drop out of sport during puberty. From local tracks to Parliament, she speaks with Olympians, experts and campaigners to uncover the cultural, educational and physiological pressures pushing girls out of sport.
The film captures a movement happening in real time, as Issey works with national partners to build a practical schools Toolkit designed to keep girls active, confident and included.
A story about barriers, but also real solutions, Out of the Race shows what needs to change so every girl can stay in the sport she loves.
