ONE STEP turns old books into your next mixed media art journal ready to paint, print & collage!

Sometimes all you need is a little gesso and a discarded vintage book to jump into your next mixedmedia art journal adventure!

Watch as I paint these time-stained pages with gesso and quickly get to art-making in this mixed media session.

I use what's on hand including- mainly watercolors, black ink, touches of black acrylic paint, vintage papers and ephemera, graphite pencils and some super luxurious pastels that were recently gifted to me to create these mini abstract art pages.

I even experienced a bit of a breakthrough moment so be sure to watch until the end!
Oh, and fate brought me a baby turtle this week and so he is here too of course!
