Cross Plains Solutions, LLC., based in Dalton, Georgia, was honored by the American Chemical Society with a 2025 Green Chemistry Challenge Award in the category of Deisgn of Safer and Degradable Chemicals. In this video, Alan Snipes, CEO of Cross Plains Solutions, gives remarkes on SoyFoam™, a fire-suppression foam consisting of defatted soybean meal and biobased ingredients that can extinguish Class A and Class B fires. The remarks were given at the Green Chemistry Challenge Awards Ceremony on September 3, 2025 in Washington, D.C.
