Toggenburg SWITZERLAND - Unexpected Jewel of the Swiss Alps

For once, it’s not me who decides where to go, instead my camera man Bleon chose the places to visit. We went to the beautiful region of Toggenburg, going to explore waterfalls and the nearby summits to get a spectacular view over the Churfirsten mountains, lake Walensee, the Swiss Alps, Alpstein with Mount Säntis, and also lake Constance. The tour was a beautiful surprise, I have never been to this region, but I always wanted to visit the Thurfälle and the lookout up on the Chäserrugg and Hinterrug. A beautiful region for people with a smaller budget.
It's very easy to go there. You will have to travel to the canton of Sankt Gallen to the region called Toggenburg. Most of the attractions are concentrated around Wildhaus and Unterwaser. The first place is in Unterwasser. You may park there and then follow the hiking trail to the waterfalls called Thurfälle. The hike is very easy and only takes 15 minutes. The waterfall is unique as you can see it from a cave and from above. Then, after visiting the Thur waterfalls, go to the funicular to access Iltios to take the gondola / cabin ride up to the Chäserrugg. The Chäserrugg is one of the Top 10 summits of Switzerland and one of the 7 summits called Churfirsten. The view is absolutely insane! You may see the Walensee lake, the swiss Alps, the green grass fields everywhere, and you will have the impression that you are in the Dolomites.
