The men’s pursuit in Annecy–Le Grand Bornand delivered high drama and a memorable finish.

Johan Olav Botn sealed a brilliant victory with flawless shooting, opening enough of a gap to celebrate in style with an iconic pole drop on the finish line. Behind him, the fight for the remaining podium places stayed wide open until the final climb, where Emilien Jacquelin surged clear to take second place.

Johannes Dale-Skjevdal completed the podium in third, while Eric Perrot narrowly missed out after being part of the battle all the way to the line.
