This is my bud vase project....Its a carrot!.. I use a bit of Christmas tree... its rubbish wood and turns like dried cabbage. There is a nasty moment when the blank flies out of the lathe and smacks me in the face shield...don't forget to wear head protection....glasses are not enough.
Anyway i turn a carrot and paint it orange add a test tube and a wire loop and fill it with asparagus fern. You can see my wife at the end...she is so pleased...
