✎ Wooden royal palace built in the village of Kolomenskoye near Moscow in the second half of the 17th century.

✎ His rich and exotic decor was admired by foreigners who saw him.
Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov loved his palace, his contemporaries called it the eighth wonder of the world.

✎ It was not dismantled before 1767, and the foundations of the palace have been preserved (as well as stone buildings of the economic services at the palace).
⠀
✎ In 2010, a life-size reconstruction of the palace was erected on the unbuilt territory of the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. The facades and the general layout of the palace repeat the original structure quite accurately, because they were recreated according to the drawings created by the order of Catherine II.
