On 4th april 2009 Sangeet Smriti held an evening of Rafi songs at Siri Fort Auditorium New Delhi.It happened to be KLSehgal's 105th birthday. The Sangeet Smriti was formed by Smt Shikha Biswas(daughter of legendary Anil Biswas)9811555570,Miss Renu Soni and Sh. Dharam veer Tewathia and later on log aate gaye aur carvaan badhta gaya.Its aim was to provide a platform for old music lovers to stand at one place and to give oppurtunity to upcoming talents.The talented Shrikanth Narayan from Bombay spellbound the listeners with his mellifluous voice.A young delhi girl Gurbani Bhatia played some wonderful songs on piano.Ms Harjeet Kaur and Sh MURLI too enthralled the audience.
