I finished him today! There’s something about firing up an older Genesis game that instantly drops you into another headspace. No tutorials. No hand-holding. Just you, the controls, and whatever the game decides to throw at you. Forgotten Worlds threw a lot at me when I first played it decades ago. Budgeting and weapon selection are key factors in completing this game. This is a normal difficulty run. I want to go back and try a harder difficulty, as I did better than I thought when I picked this one up again.
RF816 is about retro games, nostalgia, and enjoying the hobby at your own pace. No pressure. No perfection. Just pressing start again.
