All the members of Gokuldham society are extremely excited and happy that they are soon going to meet the star cast of Film Bol Bachchan in a press conference, thus Gokuldham society expresses their gratitude towards Patrakar Popatlal for inviting them in the press conference but a major trouble takes place as the organizer informs Popatlal that he has to come alone or else his seat will be cancelled thus Gokuldham society fumes in anger. Jethalal gives a rocking solution to all the members and advice's them to become fake reporters and enter the press conference and Bapuji accidentally listens to their plan. Will Bapuji support Jethalal's master plan?

The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Oondha Chashma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in ""Gokuldham Co-operative Society"" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant. The show predominantly - revolves around Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Tarak Mehta (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbor. Jethalal finds a friend and philosopher in Tarak Mehta and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalal's family includes his simpleton wife Daya Ben (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members residing in the Gokuldham Society. They have often warned Jethalal to reform Tapu or else be prepared to leave the premises.
