I would like to sincerely thank everyone who have liked , commented and appreciated my previous year’s Bommalakoluvu Video. This year, I tried to rearrange the dolls to make them look different and made a few different theme set ups that are different from the last year. Due to time and space constraints I arranged a few dolls using vertical shelves so it does not look crowded. As I went through all the dolls in detail in my last year's video , I skipped the detailed description of the dolls in this video.
Coming to a few details of the Bommalakoluvu, I split the main Golu stand like last year and kept Ammavaaru in the center. I made the pallaki for Ram parivar idols to add a special element on the top most step of the Golu and, I also made the waves for the step with Lakshmi idols to make it looks like an ocean. Finally I used antique gold rub-n- buff paste to make the Ammavaari face get the bronze look and decorated the Ammavaaru in the middle part of the Golu.
Due to lack of space I ended up not doing a village theme this year and displayed all the dolls in shelve like you see in the video.I tried to keep it simple, clean and organized.
