The Hispanic Student dental association values the importance of preventative measures. We believe good habits start early. With this in mind HSDA Dental students collaborated with dental hygiene students to educate young children and their mothers about oral health and the importance of flossing. HSDA focused specifically on educating mothers and young children on what flossing is, when you should floss, and how flossing is done. The results were overwhelmingly positive.
