On our final stop on our van road trip we stayed on the Zuienkerke Campsite which is just 8 km from the center of Bruges and its also 8 km from the coastal town of Blankenberg. Its an easy flat cycle to both of these places. In this video we show you both places and review the campsite.
We spend a day doing a Bruges walking tour, self guide with a brochure from the Tourist Office. Walk 1-The Must See Places & Walk 2-The Back Streets. Doing both of these walks enables you to get a really good feel of the city, the busy side and the much calmer side, both are as beautiful as each other, we did them both on the same day but you could do them on different days. The brochure has three other walks in it.
We spend a day in Blankenberg which is a nice coastal/seaside town with a large beach with perfect sand, plenty of shops & restaurants, some nice art installations, a very cool Art Deco Pier and snooker golf, crazy golf, mini golf, beach bars and lots more. It has its own tourist office and there is a history walk you can do around the town.
