NVIDIA Broadcast allows a user to select "Remove" that "removes your background and replaces with a transparent frame". That may happen internally, but there is no way to get that "transparent frame" into an alpha channel in either ProRes 4444 or VP9 (webm).
The "Remove" effect is NO DIFFERENT than the "Replace" effect using a black background.
The reason is that Broadcast outputs using the webcam protocol which is 4:2:0 with NO ALPHA support.
Other than that, NVIDIA Broadcast is useful to do quick and dirty background replacement. I use it that way. No complaints.
