In April 2025, during National Child Abuse Prevention Month and National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Senator Lauren Book, the Lauren’s Kids team, and thousands of survivors, advocates, and community members from across the state trekked 1,500 miles across Florida – beginning in Key West and ending in Tallahassee, bringing awareness, education, hope, and healing to communities across the state.
