Locally, she has performed at the Barn Theatre, the Blake Library, and in numerous church and community events. This marks her sixth appearance in the Sunset Concert series.

She has played at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Symphony Hall and currently performs with the Miami City Ballet, The Symphonia, and The Venice Symphony. Rebecca holds degrees from Florida State and East Carolina University and studied further at Boston University. She will serve as Artist in Residence at Dreyfoos School of the Arts this academic year.
Jeff Edwards is Organist and Choir Director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Pierce and active in the American Guild of Organists. He began piano and organ studies early in life, taught piano in Ohio, and sang with several choral groups. Since relocating to Florida, Jeff has served as Music Director for various churches and ensembles, including the Sunrise City Community Chorus.
Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, flutist and educator, is a longtime arts advocate and founder of the Sunset Concerts series. She is Professor Emerita of Music at Principia College and serves on the boards of MartinArts, The Symphonia, and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra. A Message from Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, Director
Words from Founding Director of the Sunset Concerts at the Gallery, Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, Professor Emerita of Music from Principia College and formerly the Charles Stewart Harding Mott Distinguished Professor of Music: “The arts nurture and feed our souls and are essential to life. Having performed in art galleries here and abroad, it had long been a hope of mine to bring together the visual and performing arts together right here in the Treasure Coast. The ever-changing displays of art in our gallery plus the ideal size and acoustic for music, afford the perfect setting for presenting music and art in one artistic experience. I also love the idea of providing the opportunity for artists of all ages from the Treasure Coast to be able to share their love of music in the tenth season of “Sunset Concerts at the Gallery.”
Thank you for coming to the concert!
