Today's flight from LKHK to LKKT in the Cessna 172 was exactly the kind of VFR flying I love. No G1000 – just me, a basic GPS module, and some good old-school navigation.
The weather was perfect: golden sunlight over the horizon, a few scattered clouds, and the whole landscape glowing in warm colors.
The only bit of “adventure” came at the end: finding the grass runway in Klatovy hidden among all those fields was a small challenge. After one overhead pass and a proper approach, I touched down smoothly – -95 FPM, 56 KTS, 1.06 G.
A calm, beautiful flight from takeoff all the way to the moment the wheels touched the grass. 🌅✈️
