On the 24th of November 2024, EX LMS Black Five 45407 Lancashire Fusilier was returning to Carnforth from York after hauling 'The Edinburgh Christmas Market' railtour from York to Edinburgh. The Black Five was being dragged back by Class 57 57601, Windsor Castle.
We first see the Black Five and Class 57 slowly passing Skipton Station as it comes to a halt moments after passing through platform 4 as it waits for the Morecambe train to overtake it. I board this train and we pass the Black Five before heading to Giggleswick where we watch the Diesel pull up the Black Five with ease up Giggleswick Bank towards Carnforth.
