Everyone told me not to go to La 42 - El Capotillo, the most notorious and dangerous hood in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Every creator I’ve seen visiting this place has done it with a guide—but I decided to go completely alone. No fixer, no guide, just trusting the vibe, the people, and the raw energy of the hood.

What followed was one of the craziest experiences of my life as a travel blogger. From unexpected encounters to wild moments, I embraced the chaos and went with the flow…the rest is history ..
