I was in awe of him. Always will be.
I think this was filmed as the opening of the Jack Bruce 50th Birthday Concerts at E-Werk, Köln for Rockpalast in 1993. It’s confusing to me as we started all the concerts like this, just the two of us playing a handful of his incredible songs before I’d move to drums.
Here are Running Through Our Hands and Childsong. Both of them otherworldly, unique and so very powerful. Jack here giving the performance of his life, as he did on every show.
I cherish the years I worked with him. Such memories.
