This video REALLY expands your toolbox... and the reactions don't APPEAR to have much in common... but they all proceed through a fundamentally SIMILAR mechanism.
All reagents here add in a SYN sense, because they are both SIMULTANEOUSLY electrophilic AND nucleophilic. Some you're seen before... but they all kind of work the same way.
