STINASU (Foundation for Nature Conservation Suriname) wants to find a partner to whom they can transfer the tourism exploitation of the Brownsberg Nature Park. A partner that is able to rehabilitate the tourism facilities of the Brownsberg Nature Park, situated on the Brownsberg Plateau, an area of almost 100ha (1km²), and turn it into a successful world-class nature resort. This must result in jobs and income for the local population through nature tourism, and create sustainable alternatives and capacity building in local communities. It enables STINASU to just facilitate the tourism partner and concentrate on nature conservation, research, and education.
