▬ Highlights of my roadtrip 🚗 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

💦 The waterfall at Baatara Gorge (Baloue Balaa) is one of the greatest natural wonders I've ever seen: a 90-meter drop, where the water plunges a total of 255 meters. 3 natural rock bridges tower above one another and stretch over a chasm, all within a double-circled rock gorge where the waterfall cascades. Beyond imagination! I sat down here in silence for 1 hour. 💦

🌳 The natural variety of this little country is absolutely tremendous. You can enjoy the beach at 30°C ☀️ and have snow ❄️ in the mountains in just 1 day. But the best part of Lebanon remain this incredibly warm people with a tremendous amount of authentic hospitality. And Lebanese cuisine 🍽 will trigger a burst of flavors at your palate 🥗

🌸 The beauty of the people in Lebanon is an illumination of their shining souls ❤️ Instead of formal politeness I‘ve experienced true kindness, help and love at every corner and on a level that I couldn’t even dream of. A level that fills up your heart that much, that people would even see you as a family member 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🌲 Cedar trees in Lebanon are estimated to be up to 6.000 years old 👴🏻 Even before Mohammed, Jesus and Siddharta 🙏 entered our world & even before the Pyramids were built, those trees were already there making them one of the oldest trees on our earth 🌍 There is hardly a breath of wind in the shade of the old Lebanon cedar. Air is pleasantly mild. Probably the most peaceful place in Lebanon. No wonder it is featured in the national flag 🇱🇧
