Hello Everyone,
Happy Pride month! This months watercolor illustration I decided to incorporate the colors of the rainbow as if the chameleon was changing into those colors. I used a reference from my own little guy to try and get the colors where they needed to go. However the video doesn't show where I went back in and touched up areas where I felt the colors should have either popped more, or the definition wasn't right.
I'm very aware that these are unnatural colors for a chameleon, but I knew I wanted to paint an animal this month and what better subject matter than my own pet.
