This 1993 series proved there can be life after syndicated death. 'HEAT' was the Hemiphere Emergency Action team, secret agents who posed as employees of a beach fashion business in Puerto Vallarta. The show ended after one season, but two years later a mostly new cast was back (it was explained that the team had disbanded after one year) for a second season of bad guys, beaches, and babes. The theme ('I Feel the Heat') was sung by Sable Jeffries in season one; Pepper Mashay sang the snappier arrangement for season two. It was composed by Michael Lloyd, Jim Ervin, and Tommy Oliver (bandleader on 'Name That Tune').
