▶ Let's get some more Xeno onto the channel! This one is special, one of my partner's favourite all time videogame tracks is Alfeto Valley's theme so this is my birthday present for her! That being said I also personally love this track, it has such an emotional weight fitting of the area's location in the story of the game, something XC3 does very well with its area themes. I've always loved how despite this the track, which is in minor key, ends on a major chord... a picardy third, making it feel like there's hope at the end of the tunnel, which there definitely was!

As for my version it's following the acoustic model I've used on my FromSoftware Acoustic Arrange project. Mostly piano and string quartet but also features some additional stuff like body percussion (me hitting my own chest into the mic lol) and celesta for some nostalgic melancholic tones. I had some sketch vocals I just left in the bg later on in the piece because the kind of childish sound they have fit the tone well IMO.
