December 12 - On this blessed day, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of Mercy and Star of the New Evangelization. We honor the loving presence of the Virgin who appeared on Tepeyac Hill, bringing hope, healing, and unity to a people in need. Her tender words to Juan Diego—“Am I not here, I who am your Mother?”—continue to echo in our hearts today.
As the Protectress of the Americas and the Mother of all who seek comfort, Our Lady of Guadalupe reminds us that God draws near to the poor, the humble, and the broken. Her image, left miraculously on Juan Diego’s tilma, stands as a sign of God’s abiding love, reminding us that we are never alone.
May this feast renew our devotion, deepen our trust in God’s providence, and inspire us to bring Christ’s compassion and justice to all we meet. Through Our Lady’s intercession, may our communities shine with faith, unity, and missionary zeal.
