The Joker is a majorly iconic character and is arguably the most important and dangerous Batman villains out there. He's so popular that he's starred in several hit movies and comic-book storylines throughout the decades. Although he is a seemingly heartless, and chaotic clown, he does make numerous key points regarding people, society, and human nature.

To understand the complexities of the Joker, I analyze and explain the Joker's history throughout some of the comic books, his widely acclaimed Dark Knight iteration portrayed by Heath Ledger, and of course, his heavily controversial, yet spectacular appearance in Joaquin Phoenix's Joker.
