HS2 Colne Valley South Embankment

Update after 2 months on the Copthall Tunnel with module grill gratings now installed over the tunnel ventilation openings.... It’s quite impressive looking at the amount of earthworks that have taken place to create what we see today. It apears that some kind of access road is being created at the lower heights nearer the chiltern mainline.

Over on the other side of Harvil Road, there's less activity there with different areas clearly marked out for the next stage of works. Officially the civil works on the viaduct have been completed.

Work around the tunnel portal headhouse continues.
