The group convened under the leadership of Lisa Herrick. Jim Shelton reviewed the political scene and our current strategy, now focussed on improving the Democratic majority in the VA House of Delegates [ Donate at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/31s... ]. The group heard from Jessica Anderson, candidate for House District 71 (Williamsburg), who lost only narrowly last election, and from Dan Helmer, Campaigns Chair for the House of Delegates. Also, Abigail Spanberger, candidate for Governor, sent an upbeat message to the group. Mary Pence made a plea for early support to the slate of 8 House of Delegates candidates running in this November, and advertised a Fundraiser for them on May 22, 2025. You can donate here:
