Welcome back - so, after the excitment of Saturday (a 2-0 win), Sunday was going to be a trip along Memory Lane; as a family, we would take our summer holidays in Clacton and, as we didn't drive, we would get the train frmo Liverpool Street, however the train didn't stop until we'd left London - as a child, it was brilliant. What was up there? What was life like outside these stations? Knowing the Elizabeth Line was so frequent made it easy to do, so I set off after breakfast (which was just an excuse to walk to Farringdon from the Hotel), to jump on the train to Liverpool Street, which is where things start...
