Free Camping at Lee’s Reserve near Goondiwindi + Chorizo Gnocchi Dinner! EWRT Episode 15

We’re nearly at the end of our Epic Winter Road Trip, and this stop was a good one!

After crossing the border back into Queensland, we headed just outside Goondiwindi to Lee’s Reserve — a free riverside camp that’s quiet, peaceful, and just a little tricky to get into. Once we made it down the narrow, steep track (without getting angsty at each other 😅), we found the perfect spot by the Dumaresq River.

Dinner tonight? A camp-cooked chorizo and bacon gnocchi with a touch of maple syrup — because, why not?
