Trump savagely snaps at ‘second-rate’ reporter’s lack of ‘common sense’

US President Donald Trump has had a heated exchange with a reporter outside the White House.

While taking questions from the press outside the White House, Trump was questioned about his plans to deploy the National Guard to Chicago.

NBC News White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor questioned Trump on whether he was trying to "go to war" with Chicago.

Trump responded with a brutal response, slamming the reporter, saying that it was "fake news".
As Alcindor tried to question Trump more, the US president shut her down and told her to listen.

"You don't listen! You never listen. That's why you're second-rate. We're not going to war.

We're gonna clean up our cities. We're gonna clean them up, so they don't kill five people every weekend. That's not war, that's common sense," he said.
