Heavy lake effect snow has returned yet again to Erie, PA further increasing snow totals. On I-90, conditions were very snowy with multiple accidents including a jackknifed tractor trailer near the state line. This morning, rescue crews were sent to a mobile home for reports of a structural collapse. Crews extricated the individual from the mobile home and reported being able to see light through the inside roof in places where the roof was sagging.
A gas station was also without unleaded fuel citing that they were not sure of the arrival of the next fuel tanker due to the weather and travel conditions. Multiple people in the community took to their roofs to clear snow from their roofs due to the extreme weight of the snow.
