Union Budget 2026: संसदीय परंपराओं के अनुसार, वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण वित्त वर्ष 2026-27 का आम बजट रविवार, 1 फरवरी को पेश कर सकती हैं। वर्ष 2017 से मोदी सरकार ने बजट पेश करने की तारीख 1 फरवरी तय कर दी है, ताकि नए वित्त वर्ष की शुरुआत 1 अप्रैल तक पूरी विधायी प्रक्रिया संपन्न हो सके। हालांकि रविवार को संसद की बैठकें दुर्लभ होती हैं, लेकिन अधिकारियों का तर्क है कि 'रविवार' की छुट्टी की अवधारणा औपनिवेशिक है और इसे राष्ट्रीय महत्व के कार्यों के लिए बदला जा सकता है। हालांकि अंतिम निर्णय संसदीय मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति द्वारा लिया जाएगा।

Union Budget 2026: According to parliamentary traditions, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to present the Union Budget for the financial year 2026-27 on Sunday, February 1st. Since 2017, the Modi government has fixed February 1st as the budget presentation date to ensure that the entire legislative process is completed before the start of the new financial year on April 1st. While parliamentary sessions on Sundays are rare, officials argue that the concept of a 'Sunday' holiday is a colonial legacy and can be set aside for matters of national importance. However, the final decision will be taken by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
