This video shows you how you can build your own beautiful and completely abstract acrylic painting on a small scale. Using a 12" x 10" canvas board, prepared with white Gesso, and only 4 paint colours, you can create a fantastic and original piece of artwork!
Mix your own acrylic paints with a little water to make fluid paint which you can use like ink. Gold outliner allows you to split the canvas into interesting areas, and add details to build style and depth.
The paints I used here were Prussian Blue, Perylene Green, Titanium White and Payne's Grey.
The ink is Liquitex Iridescent Bright Gold Acrylic Ink, and the outliner is Pebeo Relief Outliner (Cerne Relief) in Gold.
The white Gesso Primer is by Winsor & Newton Galeria.
