And often, that day says the most.
This ride from Rishikesh back to Gurgaon marks the end of my Badrinath series — not with celebration, but with quiet reflection.
Along the way, the group slowly split as responsibilities called some riders back early. What remained was a familiar road, growing traffic, rising pollution, and the gradual return to everyday life.
Leaving the calm of the mountains behind, we chose a new route — not for speed, but for curiosity — and it turned out to be one of the smoothest and most peaceful stretches of the entire ride.
As Delhi approached, visibility dropped, chaos returned, and the contrast became impossible to ignore. And finally, after miles of riding, the bike stopped where it all began — home.
This episode isn’t about distance or destinations.
It’s about closure.
