Hand Dryer Compilation 1

Dryer #1: Lovair Airfury C1 at McDonald’s Ollerton.This dryer was powerful, and not too loud. This replaced the old Generic AirFury, which the main loos had until 2019. Filmed Fri 19 Nov 2021 between 19:30 - 20:15

Dryer #2: Generic AirFury at McDonald’s Mansfield Leisure Park. Went for my fave meal. This was way too loud, and made my heart thump when it started. It was extremely powerful though. Had to be quick as the order was being prepared and the lock broke.



Dryer #3: WH Airforce BC0323 at Sainsbury’s Mansfield. This is directly next to McDonald’s This was loud enough, and the small airholes don’t tend to blow away the small water particles. I am not a fan of these. The Tork papertowels were added in 2020.



Dryer #4: Jet Dryer at Mansfield Superbowl. (Downstairs). This one had branding on it but I forgot the name. Had to do a party dropoff here, hence why I came out at 5pm on a Wednesday in the first place. This was louder than any of the three Dyson knockoffs I’ve seen & was slow. These toilets were disgusting, as per usual. This replaced the old Warner Howard automatic the disabled has, in 2015



Dryer #5: Unbranded Jet Dryer at Mansfield Superbowl. (Upstairs) Again this is identical, and is very loud. This dryer broke for a long while and blue roll used instead. This replaced the old Warner Howard automatic the disabled has, in 2015. There is no upstairs disabled due to the lack of a lift .

Dryer #6: WH SM48 at Upstairs Maths Block. These have CCTV so I had to stand at an angle. These are original, with the out-of-shoot Sure papertowels added in 2020. PHSWarnerHoward suggest this not be used in education due to temperature, and this dryer is slow but heats up quickly.



Dryer #7: Oxford Dryer at Reception Disabled . This may have replaced an SM48 but I am not too sure. The papertowels dispenser and blue roll on the shelf were added in 2020. This dryer’s air jets are large, meaning the air blows everywhere, and you struggle to dry your hands. Not a good dryer.


school has 4 disabled toilets, (Oxford Dryer, Vent Axia, SM48, Hyco) 3 staff blocks and a separate women , followed by 6 student blocks with one extra womens and sixth form. They all have the papertowel but a dryer aswell. The toilets still in year groups. P.E ones and Sixth Form ones fully uses SM48. Science ones use Hyco mens and SM48 womens. East Block ones are locked. Yellow toilets mens are closed but allocated to a year group anyway. 1st clip = upstairs maths which is male only, downstairs maths again male only, I’ve never been in but someone said SM48. Then there is two female blocks one on each floor of Humanities blue then male only in MFL (converted female) which has sm48 , English down.Plus men in english up. Total 4 disableds, 12 male and 13 female.
Recently found loos in East Block downstairs. Vid up now. They’ve began returning all the loos, I’ll film what can

Dryer #8: 2 AirDri Classics at Tesco Mansfield Chesterfield Road (Mens). These are not powerful and take forever to dry. The air is also cold. These double up as face dryers, however the face dryer bit is full of debris. Probs original.



Dryer #9: AirDri Classic at Tesco Mansfield Chesterfield Road (Disabled). First, the babyroom here requires a key from Customer Service, , so couldn’t get that. Again this dryer is rubbish, and the pulldown cord badly positioned. Didn’t check the face dryer after the gents one.



Dryer #10: 2 Xlerators at Tesco Mansfield Jubilee Way. (Upstairs Gents) These are original, and these toilets were closed from April 2020 – June 2020 due to the lockdown, as there are toilets downstairs. A small refurb was undertaken, but no fixtures were replaced. These dryers are not as loud as the rumours state and are one of my faves as they dry quickly and efficiently.



Dryer #11: Xlerator at Tesco Mansfield Jubilee (Upstairs Baby Room) This dryer is original, and dries nicely.


Dryer #12: AirDri Quarto at Tesco Mansfield Jubilee (Downstairs Baby Room). other store has a naff clothes section, hence why I was here. The disabled occupied & the gents I used, but is small and was too packed to film.


The disabled and baby room Xlerator. The gents = Classic and Xlerator, and the ladies had Classic (Visible from corridor) and something else. Dunno Bout now

The disabled and baby room were both replaced by Quartos in 2019. late 2020, the Quarto from the disabled was swapped for the Xlerator in the gents the classic was replaced with quarto. The ladies srill the same I assume.



Anyway, the dryer is rubbish and again has cold air.

Dryer #13: Dolphin BC230W at Costa Forest Town Mansfield. This store opened in 2013 with Airfury in both toilets. I visited in 2018, and this was here. I didn’t use the unisex one. but that was when I was scared of dryers.
