A Bivy On a Beach Camping & Cooking With the Agawa CARBONTRAIL12 Over a Fire

A little late getting this one out, as it was filmed in late May 2025. I also have additional content coming soon. I decided to camp on the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Malagash, Nova Scotia, on Golden Sands.

Malagash is a Mi'kmaq word that loosely translates to "Place of Games."

I had the advantage of great weather and the sound of lobster boats checking traps in the background. I used my Outdoor Research Helium Bivy for the night, wrapped up in my Macausland wool blanket, which is manufactured in PEI, right across the Strait from me. All I had to contend with were some mosquitoes and ticks.

I showed the process in regards to seasoning and treating the CARBONTRAIL12 for its use in the field. I hope it was helpful. Agawa are made in Canada and are quality-made products.

I prepared a great stir-fry in the new cooking system.

Shadow & I had a great time and enjoyed each other's company.
