AJ Gybing / Jibing in heavy air
A few quick tips:
-Head up or down in puffs for more stability, it's easier to gybe when the boat is stable
-Keep your speed up through the gybe
-Commit Fully to the Gybe
-Cross the boat before the sail fills on the new side
-Use your weight to help steer through the gybe
-If possible wait for a lull to gybe
-Keep the boom out of the water
-Keep the boat pointed low on the new gybe
