Here is the process for replacing the burnt-out brake / taillight on a Subaru Forester. This specific vehicle is 2012 but other years will be very similar to this process. 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2013 2012 all have the same process. First order of business is removing the two 10mm bolts. You can also use a large Philips head screwdriver on those. The next step is to use some force and the pry tool to slide out of housing. This will take a decent amount of force. Once that is out, the top bulb is the brake light. Install the new 7443 bulb and clip it back into the housing. Insert the housing back on snuggly and screw in the 2 10mm bolts. You're all set! Hope you found the video helpful!
